VAGINISMUS - What is that?

Vaginismus is understood as an involuntary and uncontrollable tension of the pelvic floor muscles whenever something is to be inserted into the vagina, making intercourse impossible or only possible with intense pain.

Everything can change!

You can learn more about vaginismus and find ways to reduce the problems.

The good news is...

Scientifically, it is a fact that the fear response cycle of vaginismus, similar to other fears or phobias, can be influenced and potentially overcome through reconditioning.

Isn't that really difficult?

Yes, of course it is.

Overcoming vaginismus is a journey toward self-determination and control over your own body.

Addressing vaginismus is about embarking on a personal journey of understanding and managing your body. As you gather more information about vaginismus, you may start to feel a sense of empowerment and a reduction in self-doubt. It's important to acknowledge and celebrate your uniqueness in this process.

I encourage you to explore what feels right for you, discovering joy and comfort in ways that suit your individuality. Seeking out information and support can be beneficial as you explore various approaches for managing your condition.

Whether your concerns involve intimacy, family planning, travel, or health check-ups, making choices based on your personal needs and comfort is crucial. It's about learning to use your own insights and strengths to navigate life's decisions. Remember, you have the capacity to understand and manage your situation in a way that resonates with your life's path.

Women sufferers of vaginismus often believe it is impossible to change anything, but it is possible to understand and reduce the pain and fears associated with vaginismus.

The time needed to alleviate the discomfort of vaginismus varies. The daily time commitment for this is minimal, about 30–60 minutes a day. Stepping out of the comfort zone is crucial for confronting and ultimately mastering fears.

more about me>>>

I booked the personal therapy, I thought it would help me with the small details. It was worth every penny.

I`ve been a sufferer of vaginismus for over 30 years now, without it being known.  I saw a video on Youtube about the symptoms of vaginismus quite by coincidence and this made me research more about it.

With the self-help guidance I found in Dr Reeve´s book The Vaginismus Book, I was quick to book success!

Christa, 44

The best thing that could ever have happened to me!

We should have decided to do this much sooner. The therapy was worth every cent. A very emphatic and professional doctor. We felt comfortable at all times.  Dr. Reeve always took us seriously and had many helpful and individual tips. I even reached big goals during therapy. The whole atmosphere is perfect.

Katharina, 32

I had terrible anxiety and a lot of hope. From the very first minute I was happy to have contacted Dr. Reeve. I was able to insert the first dilator on the first day, I would never have thought that possible. Due to a vaginal operation at the age of 13, everything in this area was associated with a lot of pain and suffering.  Dr. Reeve gave me the time I needed and still motivated me enough and challenged me again and again to dare to step out of my comfort zone. Everything was very exciting and emotional, but Dr. Reeve was able to guide me so sensitively through all the exercises and take away my fears. I am very grateful to her for that. I am currently on my third dilator and am now looking forward to everything that has yet to come.
